  • white nose syndrome (a ring of white fungus often seen on the faces and wings)

Descripition:

  • medium sized mouse-eared bat

  • wingspan-9 to 11 inches

  • hair is dark brown or black

Location of natural habitat:

  • North America

  • Eastern and Western states of the U.S.

Other Facts:

  • endangered in 1967

  • in 2009 there were 387,000 left in the world

  • eats a variety of flying insects/insectiverous
